Hello hello!  We are the Colorado State University chapter of Women for Wild Lands, open to students and public land advocates of the greater Fort Collins community alike.  Our goal is to encourage young citizens to become educated and passionate about saving this country's remaining wild spaces.  We do so by embarking on adventures and hosting events, all to promote the usage and stress the importance of federal lands.  Join us in our mission to keep public lands in public hands!

When we're not holding meetings or writing post cards to senators... you can definitely find us utilizing our public lands and enjoying all they have to offer!

crested butte

We kicked off the semester with a weekend spent sleeping under the stars on some of our favorite BLM lands! It doesn't get much better than looking over the golden sea of aspen trees from the mountain tops of Crested Butte.

Great Sand Dunes

We kept the adventures rolling... by rolling down the Great Sand Dunes! There's nothing like a weekend spent basking in the sand and soaking up the sun. Of course, this trip was made possible by BLM lands that served as our home away from home for a few amazing nights.

arches

We wrapped up the fall season with one last camping trip to some BLM lands (no surprise there) outside of Moab Utah. After Trump's decision to shrink 2 national monuments in the state, it made being able to enjoy Arches all the sweeter and our drive to save our public lands all the stronger!

The Women's march

Our ladies spread good vibes across the country from Bellingham WA, to Carbondale CO, to Denver CO, to Washington DC. It was extremely empowering to stand up for women's rights as well as the right of all Americans' to enjoy their public lands!

Eagles nest

Even when we have too much school work to go away camping for an entire weekend, we can't stay away our wild lands! Eagles Nest Open Space made for the perfect day hike and a much needed study break.

No man's land

Our spring season came to a close with our 3rd annual showing of No Man's Land. We are so fortunate to have fellow organizations who love putting on this event as much as we do. It's truly an incredible sight to witness a full theater of unique yet equally amazing people, be moved and inspired by one film festival.
